IT Security Operations Analyst

<p><strong>Main Objective:</strong></p><p>The IT Security Specialist will play a critical role in safeguarding the Company's information systems and data from security breaches, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.<br>This position will work closely with IT teams to implement security measures, monitor systems for security incidents, and recommend policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.<br><br><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from various systems to identify potential security incidents using in-house tools.</li><li>Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and yearly penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.</li><li>Incident Response: Respond to security incidents, including conducting investigations, documenting findings, and implementing remediation measures.</li><li>Policy Development: Review current policies and recommend security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.</li><li>User Training: Provide training and awareness programs for employees to promote security best practices and reduce risks. This includes tabletop exercises and knowledge testing</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate security into all aspects of IT operations and projects.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of security incidents, configurations, and procedures.</li><li>Research and Education: Stay informed about the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>A degree in computer science or a related field and an equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience are required.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Information Technology field with experience in related position responsibilities.</li><li>Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems).</li><li>Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).</li><li>Maintain a strong teamwork environment with co-workers and maintain positive and effective working relationships with numerous departments and employees.</li></ul>
