SAP SD/MM Consultant

<p>We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA SD/MM Functional Consultant with 7+ years of hands-on SAP SD/MM experience and at least 5 years of exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations. The role supports a new SAP S/4HANA<br>implementation for a leading Sporting Goods company in the United States, with the position based in Mexico.</p><p>The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Variant Configuration, MaketoOrder (MTO) and MaketoStock (MTS) business processes, along with excellent communication skills to work closely with US-based business and IT stakeholders.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and support SAP S/4HANA SD and MM functional design and configuration for a new S/4HANA implementation</li><li>Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SD/MM solutions aligned with best practices</li><li>Configure and support end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes</li><li>Design and support Variant Configuration (VC) models for configurable products commonly used in the Sporting Goods industry</li><li>Support and optimize sales and supply chain processes for Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) scenarios</li><li>Configure and support key SD processes including:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; o Sales Order Management<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; o Pricing, Discounts, and Rebates<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; o ATP / aATP and Availability Checks<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; o Shipping, Delivery, and Billing</li><li>Configure and support key MM processes including:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; o Material Master, Purchasing, and Inventory Management<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; o Goods Movements and Stock Management<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; o Integration with Warehouse and Manufacturing processes</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EWM, PP, CPI, and ABAP to ensure seamless end-to-end integration</li><li>Support integration testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities</li><li>Troubleshoot business process issues post go-live and provide continuous improvement recommendations</li><li>Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials</li></ul><p><strong>Main Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years of hands-on SAP SD/MM Functional experience</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience working on SAP S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or major conversions)</li><li>Strong knowledge of S/4HANA SD and MM data model and process changes</li><li>Extensive experience with Variant Configuration (VC), including configurable materials, characteristics, classes, and dependencies</li><li>Strong hands-on experience supporting Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to- Stock (MTS) processes</li><li>In-depth understanding of Order Management, Pricing, Billing, and Inventory processes</li><li>Strong experience in SD–MM integration as well as integration with PP and EWM</li></ul>
